MWRA Blue Hill Reservoir storage tank

The MWRA installed a new 10 million gallon water storage tank adjunct to the Bill Hill reservoir. This storage tank is one of many being installed to insure safe drinking water as required by DEP regulations.  Inside the tank are large pipes used to draw the water out as needed.  The John W. Egan Company was retained to properly prepare and protect these pipes from corrosion in this immersion environment.
